On January 29th, 2019, the prestigious journal Trials published the protocol for the ATICA Study, aimed towards evaluating the implementation strategy and the effectiveness of mobile health intervention (m- Health)

During July 24-26, 2018,the first round of training for community health workers participating in the cluster randomized study took place in the province of Jujuy.
More than 200 community health workers, supervisors, and chiefs of PHC participated in the training.

Training of community health workers involved in the pilot trial of the ATICA Study took place on July 13, in the city of San Salvador de Jujuy.

During April 12-16 the team of researchers and collaborators of the ATICA Study got together in the cities of San Salvador de Jujuy and Buenos Aires.

On Thursday, April 5th, 2018, Dr. Liliana Orellana, research professor from Australia’s Deakin University, one of the principal investigators of the ATICA Study, conducted a workshop on Statistics, addressed to the staff of the ATICA Study and members of the Argentinean National Cancer Institute.

The focus group meetings took place from January 15th to 19th in the Jujuy Province. The purpose of these meetings was the participatory design of the SMS messages that women will receive after HPV self-collection offered by community health workers.
